The Online Conference, which took place on 5th/6th May 2009, was considered to be a great success, with over 250 participants from over 30 countries. Six selected papers were published and generated significant interest. Indeed several visitors to the blog have asked how they can obtain the full Proceedings of 13 papers. We will be providing details on how the book may be obtained shortly. This was the first time an online conference had been held in the field of Quantity Surveying and we are very happy with the response. It was certainly a learning experience, and we hope to develop this concept further in the future. This is certainly a way of engaging the widest possible international audience who normally would not be able to participate.
